Course description
The construction industry is booming in the Pacific Northwest! This is visible by the number of cranes in urban areas as well as residential growth throughout our communities. Because of this development, there is a high demand for a skilled workforce in the construction and related industries.
The Construction Trades program is designed to provide students with the technical skills necessary for entry-level trades positions and includes a strong emphasis on job site safety. This course also focuses on developing professionalism and highly-employable traits and characteristics. Skills and knowledge are cultivated using hands-on activities, project-based learning, field trips, and guest speakers in order to meet rigorous academic and industry standards.
