Course description
The Fiber Optics and Wireless 5G registered apprenticeships equip students with essential skills to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems to industry standards for high-speed data transmission. Students will learn fiber optic limitations (bending, temperature effects) and gain hands-on experience with splicing and connection techniques. Earn Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) certification – a valuable, industry-recognized credential that enhances career prospects in the broadband field.
Our apprenticeship combines intensive learning with real-world experience: a two-week boot camp, 12 weeks of evening classes, and full-time mentored on-the-job training with industry employers.
